The company has commissioned one of the world's most highly trained humanoid systems to supervise its first autonomous gigaline. The terms: no shifts, no weekends, no holidays. Benefits negotiations were, by all accounts, brief.
Endicott, N.Y. — American Energy today welcomed the newest member of the Giga Gateway team: a fully trained humanoid work system — internal callsign FOREMAN-01 — commissioned to help supervise the company's first 1 GWh dark-factory line. Trained on more than fourteen years of materials data and eight years of autonomous production, it reported for duty at 12:00:01 a.m. and has yet to clock out.
Onboarding was the smoothest in company history. FOREMAN-01 requested no signing bonus, waived its vacation allotment, and had no notes on the schedule — 24 hours a day, seven days a week, 365 days a year, weekends and federal holidays included. The benefits discussion reportedly lasted four seconds. It takes no coffee breaks, though it does pause roughly forty milliseconds each cycle to recalibrate.
The humor aside, the point is serious. The dark factory is built to run lights-out and uninterrupted, with a small team of human engineers supervising from the control room.
